Chickpea Flour Protein Waffles

Recipe makes 2 servings of 4 small waffles each

Macros per serving:

406 cals - 10g fat - 39g carbs - 40g protein 

 

Alternatively, each small waffle breaks down to:

102 cals - 2.5g fat - 10g carbs - 10g protein 

 

Ingredients:

1 cup chickpea flour

4 scoops (two servings) Nuzest Smooth Vanilla Protein (50g protein powder)

2 cups soy milk

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt 

 

Recipe:

Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whisk until smooth. Let mixture sit for 10 minutes to thicken.

Warm your waffle maker to medium/hot.

 Cook until browned and crispy. Timing will adjust according to your specific waffle maker but mine took 5 minutes each batch.

Remove from waffle maker and enjoy with your favourite toppings!

Tip: These are great for meal prep! Simply cook them ahead of time, seal in a container and refrigerate. When ready to eat, pop them in the toaster to warm.
