| MONSTER COOKIE DOUGH OATS |
Breakfast cookie dough with 46g of plant-based protein! The perfect fiber and protein rich breakfast for anyone with a morning sweet tooth. I recently discovered the brand Unreal Foods and fell in love with their chocolate coated crispy quinoa candies that look like smarties but taste way better! I've linked the exact ones I used in the recipe ingredients below!
Recipe makes two servings
Macros per serving:
517 cals - 17g fat - 45g carbs - 46g protein
Macros and calories a little high for your requirements? No problem! I've broken the recipe down into three at the bottom of the page so you can save on calories and macros!
Ingredients:
2/3 cup sprouted oats
2 scoops vanilla protein (82g)
1 1/2 cups soy milk
1 tbsp peanut butter or more neutral butter like cashew or tahini
1 tsp vanilla
big pinch of sea salt
Recipe:
Add the oats to a high speed blender and blend to a flour.
Pour the oat flour into a bowl and add in: protein, soy milk peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until it's thoroughly mixed together and smooth.
Pour into two containers.
Top with 15g each "smarties" or if preferred chocolate chips!
*Note: If you're using the Unreal Foods candies, it's best not to mix them into the batter but just add them on top. The natural dye on the shell melts very easy and makes for a not so pretty colour if mixed ahead of time.
Enjoy!
Lower calorie/macro version:
Make the oat base the exact same but divide among three containers instead of two. Top with 15g each "smarties" or preferred add-in.
Macros for this version (including 15g candy!):
373 cals - 13g fat - 33g carbs - 31g protein
