| APPLE WHIP PIE DESSERT |

Coming at you with recipe #2 from my new instagram series: Low Calorie | High Protein Vegan Recipes. This series is here to help you kickstart your health and fitness resolutions for 2025.

Starting a diet in 2025? Guess what, you still deserve dessert. The key to sticking to any diet or nutrition plan is to incorporate the foods you love! Cleaning up your diet, eating less, or moving more takes enough work already so let's not drain the fun out of it by removing our favourite foods. Big dessert person? Me too! So let's get to meal prepping you a sweet treat that packs fiber, protein, healthy fats, and probiotics.

Recipe makes 4 servings (you can easily halve this if needed)

Macros per serving

269 cals - 9g fat - 31g carbs - 16g protein

Ingredients

3 large apples or 4 small, chopped

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp coconut sugar

1 tbsp Ceylon cinnamon - if using Saigon cinnamon, reduce to 1-2 tsp

1/4 tsp salt

2 cups plain vegan yogurt

60g vanilla protein powder (15% off affiliate discount code: EVANNRYAN)

Recipe

To a pan add chopped apples, olive oil, maple syrup, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to medium low heat and cook, stirring often, until apples have softened. Depending on the size of your apple chunks this should take 6-10 minutes.

Divide the apple mixture into 4 containers and set aside to cool.

In a small mixing bowl add yogurt and protein powder. Whip together until super smooth.

Divide the protein yogurt across the 4 cooled apple containers and spread across the tops.

Seal and refrigerate until you're ready for a sweet treat!

Apple Whip Pie should last in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 4 days.

This was fantastic! I had some mediocre apples left offer and tried it and they SHINED in this recipe! Even without the topping the apples were amazing!
