Protein Brownie Batter

Protein Brownie Batter

| PROTEIN BROWNIE BATTER |

A decadent chocolate whipped dessert! Perfect as is or pair it with some fresh fruit for a bigger snack. This recipe is gluten free, soy free, high in protein, and low in calories!

Recipe makes 4 servings

Macros per serving:

185 cals - 5g fat - 18g carbs - 17g protein

Macros per serving with added chocolate:

311 cals - 15g fat - 25g carbs - 19g protein

Recipe notes:

I opted for a vanilla greek yogurt, rather then the usual plain. This combined with the chocolate protein powder made for a nice and sweet brownie batter. If you prefer plain yogurt simply add a few tablespoons of sweetener to the batter like maple syrup, date syrup, or even a zero calorie sweetener like monk fruit or stevia.

You can save 10% on my favourite protein powder on Nuzest.com using code "EVANNRYAN." The rich chocolate flavour is amazing!

Using raw cacao powder here is ideal as it's the most optimal way to get all the benefits from cacao. Raw cacao powder is higher in vitamins and minerals like magnesium, iron and zinc, than dutch processed cocoa powder. You can get 10% off kivahealthfoods.com cacao powder and other superfoods using code "EVANN10."

I've offered macros for both with and without adding in chopped chocolate. The macros are clearly "better" without, but when you use a high quality chocolate like Zazubean you do get to reap the benefits of cacao, so you do you.
