Best in Cruelty Free Fashion 2024

When it comes to style and veganism, I need you to know, it's more possible than it's ever been in 2025 to have it all. I've loved fashion since I was just a kid drawing my own seasonal fashion magazines with crayons and markers of fall dresses, summer skirts, and winter coats. It always felt like a beautiful expression to me, to show who you are through clothes.

So when I first went vegan and started to deep dive into the world of animal agriculture, I was shocked at how much further it went than the food system. Everything from our shoes to our toothpaste needs to be checked for animal by-products and that feels really insane to me. But as an optimist I also discovered that knowledge is power and that I can make a difference, every day, by simply voting with my dollar.

The companies I've listed and shopped from this year are amazing because they've allowed me to not compromise on style or my values. Long gone are the vegan hemp dresses and hippie skirts from the 90's, vegans today are rocking high fashion, and we're doing it cruelty free.

Noize

Product: Coco Cropped Length Puffer & Leather Jacket.

Noize has so many incredible vegan, cruelty free, PETA approved jackets in chic styles for every season. I have these two and absolutely love the styles and fit. Not to mention they have a HUGE up to 80% off sale right now!!!

The Coco Cropped Length Puffer.

This jacket is my go-to everyday winter jacket. It makes me feel stylish and put together over my gym clothes, but it also looks incredible with a dress and heels.

Fianna Cropped Vegan Leather Coat

I've always loved a motorcycle leather jacket. I've had a variation in my closet for as long as I can remember. Like denim, it truly never goes out of style.

Steve Madden

Products: Combat boots & heeled booties.

While Steve Madden is not a vegan company they do have a handful of vegan leather shoes! If vegan leather is important to you, just make sure to read the label before purchasing. These are two of my favourite boots I bought this year that use vegan leather.

Black Bettyy Combat Boots

Obsessssed with these! They are so comfortable to wear and I love that they have a platform that gives me an extra inch or two. Plus a side zipper, making them really easy to put on and take off.

Tatee Black Block Heel

The perfect chic day to night bootie. Love these with a pair of jeans or dress pants in the day or a dress at night! They're so freaking comfortable too!

Don't Eat The Homies

Products: T-shirts, hoodies, sweats.

I love their branding and message. Definitely more of a vegan statement piece. I have the t-shirt "I only eat free range humans" and I've got my eye on their Classic Hoodie.

Classic Hoodie

Rocking one of my favourite Don't Eat The Homies tees at the gym.

Lost Woods

Products: Black Bags with Gold Chains.

These guys just showed up on my radar so I haven't purchased anything yet, but it was definitely love at first sight! I'm a big fan of the founders perspective on the fashion industry, you can read about her here. But what first caught my eye was these beautifully crafted bags!

The gold chain bags are what I have my eye on.

Gym Shark

Products: Seamless leggings.

Did you know Gym Shark is entirely vegan and cruelty free?! While they're wildly known for their instagram popularity as a gym wear line, what they don't often promote is the fact that they're 100% vegan made. That's pretty cool.

The seamless leggings are my absolute favourite piece that I own from them. It's one of the first pairs of leggings that I feel supports my curves, hugs me in all the right places, and isn't too long for my short (5' tall) frame. Tall girlies, don't be discouraged, they have many pieces for you too.

Call It Spring

Products: Fall Boots.

I just recently found out the entire Call It Spring store is 100% vegan and Peta approved! While I don't shop there super often, they always have options for the current season that are trendy and fashionable.

Currently loving the Nadiah Boot in light brown.

Moea

Products: Sneakers.

I've wanted these sneakers foreverrrrrrr. They're pricey, but they're so dang pretty, and I just love that they're made from fruits and plants. Those of you in the UK can probably get a better deal on these, but for us Canadians, these are about $400 CAD before shipping.. so until I hop on a flight I'll be loving these through my phone. But one day, these will be on my feet.

These are the GEN1 Corn Full White, because an all white sneakers is a must in every closet.

To go vegan, or even be vegan curious in 2025 is truly a magical thing.  Not long ago it would have been incredibly difficult to find beautiful clothes, amazing cheeses, and plant-based sections on restaurant menus. We truly owe it all to the OG vegans who did it all with no options, just a firm belief that we can live healthy, fashionably, and cruelty free all at the same time.

I would love to know what you think of the list, what you've got your eye on, and if you have some other brands in mind I need to checkout! Leave a comment below and keep the conversation going!
