Banana Bread Batter

Continuing the high protein desserts collection with probably the best flavour yet!! Banana bread with salt, crunchy pecans, and chocolate, this creamy dessert tastes like you're eating banana bread batter straight out of the mixing bowl.

 

Recipe makes 3 servings

Macro per serving:

321 cals - 11g fat - 33g carbs - 18g protein

 

MACRO NOTE:

A huge majority of the calories are coming from the chocolate chip and pecan mix-ins! If you want to keep it "clean" and lower in calories skip the mix-ins for these macros:

147 cals - 4g fat - 21g carb - 16g protein.

These macros are if you still divide it in three.

 

Ingredients:

1 banana

1 cup vegan greek yogurt (thickest vegan yogurt you can find!)

42g vanilla protein powder

1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup chocolate chips

 

Recipe:

Add the banana to a bowl and mash really well with a fork.

Add in greek yogurt, and vanilla protein.

Mix together really well forming a batter.

Season the batter with cinnamon, vanilla bean powder, and salt.

Whipping everything together to combine.

Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.

Add to a single sealable container or divide batter amongst three meal prep containers. 

Enjoy as a healthy snack or dessert!
