Blueberry Cheesecake Protein Yogurt Bowl
Evann RyanOne of my most viral videos ever was one of my most basic protein yogurt bowl recipes and videos ever. It was my Raspberry Cheesecake Protein Bowl and you guys absolutely loved it! What's funny is that it's been one of my favourite recipes forever but it's also so simple that I hesitated to share it. I learned a valuable lesson with that viral video, and that is that this community loves what I love --- super simple recipes that come together in 5 minutes. Of course the fact that they taste like dessert and have over 30g of protein is a huge bonus too ;)
This blueberry cheesecake protein yogurt bowl is so quick to make and has the lemony tang flavour from cheesecake, a little sea salt, is creamy and rich from yogurt, packed with protein from organic vanilla protein powder, and a cookie crumble that takes just one second to go from yogurt bowl to cheesecake! It's customizable, low in calories, and perfect for a sweet snack or a weight loss meal that helps you hit your protein with ease and flavour!

What You'll Need To Make High Protein Yogurt Bowl
Plain vegan yogurt. My personal favourite is the Maison Riviera plain coconut yogurt. They also have a great oat milk greek yogurt.
Good quality vanilla protein powder. My go-to protein powder is Vedge Nutrition. Their protein powder is non-GMO, plant-based, gluten free, organic, and most importantly third party tested. You can shop their protein powder (and supplements!) using my discount code: EVANNRYAN.
Lemon juice and sea salt to bring in that cheesecake tang! When it comes to lemon juice I use it so often I actually prefer to buy it bottled instead of squeezing lemons every time. Honestly it's surprisingly cheaper as well considering how much a single lemon costs these days! The only thing I look out for with bottled lemon juice is that it has no preservative or additives, it should just be lemon! My go-to brand is Santa Cruz which I buy at Whole Foods market for $7-8 CAD or you can grab this brand on Amazon.
Fresh or frozen blueberries. If I'm enjoying this protein yogurt bowl right away I actually really like using frozen blueberries. I like that it makes it super cold and a slightly different texture. If I'm prepping a bunch of yogurt bowls for the week I use fresh blueberries when they're in season.
Vegan graham crackers. These aren't the easiest to find, but you can get this brand, Partake online and in some grocers. If you can't find them at all you can totally use a different cookie! The key here is to get that cheesecake crust texture in the bowl, so a vegan shortbread or even a healthy cookie would add a nice crunch!

Substitutions
If you want it realllllllllly thick you could use vegan greek yogurt. Just keep in mind adding protein powder to greek yogurt makes for an incredibly thick texture.
I have a ton of other cheesecake flavours with a similar base recipe but using a different flavoured protein powder. You can check out those recipes listed below!
Switch up the blueberries for any of your favourite fruits! Berries like strawberry or blackberry will give you the most consistent macros with the ones I listed, but chopped peaches, apples, or nectarines would be nice too.
Can't find vegan graham crackers? Use whatever healthier cookies, or not healthier, you can find! You just need a few cookie crumbs on top for texture.
