High Protein Yogurt Bowl, Key Lime Cheesecake Flavour!
Evann RyanThe perfect 5 minute, sweet summer snack or meal, loaded with 34g of plant-based protein per high protein yogurt bowl! The base of this key lime pie inspired yogurt bowl is Prana Foods Sumsuma Squares made with just two organic ingredients: sesame seeds and cane sugar. Just like the sesame squares from your childhood but made with dry roasted organic sesame seeds and fair trade organic cane sugar, these are far better than the ones you grew up with.
All you have to do is chop the Sumsuma Squares into small mismatched pieces and add them to the bottom of your meal prep jar or container. Then you're going to whip up a cheesecake inspired high protein yogurt with coconut yogurt, vanilla protein powder, key lime juice and zest, and salt. Top with some coconut whipped topping and more key lime zest for a beautiful high protein yogurt bowl that's healthy enough to eat for breakfast.

What You'll Need To Make This Key Lime High Protein Yogurt Bowl
Sumsuma Squares from Prana Foods. You can shop these sesame squares and tons of other all natural, organic groceries using my discount code: EVANNRYAN. Insider tip: grab the crunchy bean snacks in sriracha, jalapeno, or dill pickle flavour for a savoury protein snack too!
Plain vegan yogurt. My go-to brand is Maison Riviera, another great Canadian brand like Prana Foods! In fact it's the perfect texture for these high protein yogurt bowls!
Vanilla protein powder. The protein powder is what makes the texture thick and creamy like a cheesecake. My go-to protein is Vedge Nutrition. You can shop their organic, third party tested protein and supplements using my discount code: EVANNRYAN.
Key limes. In addition the citrus does two things: one, it adds a tangy flavour to the high protein yogurt bowl that you find in cheesecakes, and two, it adds the key lime for the key lime flavouring!
Salt. Because everything sweet needs a pinch of salt to brighten the flavours.
Coconut whipped topping. An optional topping that adds a beautiful look to your high protein yogurt bowl when serving.

Substitutions
You definitely don't need the coconut whipped topping garnish. Especially if you're prepping more than one serving at a time.
Swap the key limes for lemon!
Try it with greek yogurt instead of plain yogurt for a thicker result.

Storing
While I've given you the recipe as a single serving below, it's very easy to double or triple the recipe for meal prep. If you do that, then make the protein yogurt cheesecakes without the coconut whipped topping and store them in airtight meal prep containers in the fridge until ready to eat. I love these glass meal prep containers.
