
Chocolate Crunch Protein Bars

Recipe makes 12 servings of Chocolate Crunch Protein Bars
Macros per serving:
222 cals - 14g fat - 14g carbs - 10g protein
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped chocolate or chips, I used 2 x 80g Zazubean Zero Sugar Bars
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1 scoop Vedge Nutrition Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein (affiliate discount link!)
- 2 1/2 cups Catalina Crunch Chocolate Cereal, you can also sub another high protein cereal or regular cereal for less protein
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt, optional
Recipe instructions:
- Line a loaf pan or small 6 x 6 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Add the chocolate to a large sauce pot and melt on low heat, stirring constantly.
- Once chocolate is melted you can remove it from heat and add the peanut butter. Stir the peanut butter through the melted chocolate until they're fully blended.
- Add in protein powder and gently fold through until fully combined.
- Add in cereal and fold through until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Using the back of a spoon gently press the the bar down and flat across the top. Add a sprinkle of coarse sea salt across the top to finish.
- Set in the fridge to firm, 1-2 hrs.
- Once firm, remove from the fridge and set on the counter to reach room temperature before slicing into bars.
- Keep bars in a sealed container on the counter or in the fridge.
