Recipe makes 8 roses

Macros per rose:

183 cals - 11g fat - 14g carbs - 7g protein

Ingredients

200g ready made vegan pastry dough, I used half this package

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1 package tofurky deli slices, or preferred vegan deli slices

1/2 vegan cheddar shreds

Recipe

**If your pastry dough is frozen you will have to set it in the fridge for a few hours.**

Preheat the oven to 400 F, or as directed by your selected pastry dough packaging.

Line a muffin tray with 8 liners. I like silicone liners since their reusable! Set aside.

Sprinkle 1 tbsp of flour across a clean surface.

Place the pastry dough down and roll it out into a thin rectangle.

Slice 8 long pieces of dough.

Add 1 tbsp tomato sauce to each piece and spread from end to end.

Slice the deli slices and add them on top of the tomato sauce, making sure the rounded edge is slightly over the ends - this will give a petal effect.

Add 1 tbsp cheese across the deli slices from end to end.

Gently roll each one up tightly into a pizza roll.

Add the prepared pizza rolls in to the muffin liners.

Bake for 20-22 minutes or until browned. The bake time will depend on how thin you rolled the dough, and which pastry dough brand you're using, so make sure to check around 15 minutes!

Once browned and crispy, remove from the oven and allow to cool.

Enjoy as is or dip into  this healthy vegan ranch sauce!
